Seth & Sarah Simmons


Pastor Seth assumed the pastorate of New Life Burnet in January of 2021. The Simmonses work as a team to provide pastoral care and lead the ministries of the church. Sarah is a gifted singer and finds joy in equipping others to thrive in ministry. The Simmonses have two daughters, Promise (18) and Purity (13).

Pastor Seth is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. He formerly served as youth pastor at New Life Austin from 2005-2011, as pastor of New Life Hutto in Hutto, Texas, from 2011-2016, and as assistant pastor at New Life Austin from 2017-2020. He also formerly served as youth president of the South Texas District. He currently serves as secretary-treasurer of the Austin Metro Section and chair of the Design and Marketing Committee of the South Central Texas District. He earned a master of arts in Christian ministry from Urshan Graduate School of Theology, a bachelor of science in corporate communication from the University of Texas at Austin, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Ecclesial Leadership at Regent University.

Michael & Crystal Everett

Asst. Pastor

Michael assumed the assistant pastor position in June of 2017. The Everetts serve as a team. Crystal enjoys working behind the scenes and helping people in any way she can. The Everetts have two children, Kaden (9) and Lilly (7).

Doug & Barbara Fowler

Advisory Pastor

Doug Fowler served as the founding pastor of New Life Burnet since 2004 as well as the founder of Martha’s Ministries. The Fowlers serve as a team. Barbara enjoys teaching kids about Jesus, and she is a fantastic cook!

In 2021, Pastor Seth appointed Doug Fowler as advisory pastor. The advisory pastor is an honorary position reserved for the founding pastor. The advisory pastor acts as an advisor to the pastor on major decisions related to New Life Burnet.
